My God, My Savior

Published on 17 June 2026 at 18:37

I am simply in awe of God.

I don’t know how he does it, but even in the midst of me not knowing how,

I know that it is already done.

Today I have been reminded of just who my God is.

There is none greater than my God.

Just when I think all hope is lost.

When I feel like I am on my own.

When I accept that my life will never amount to much.

The moment when I bow to defeat,

The Lord steps in and makes Himself known.

He lifts me to my feet, He strengthens me, He prays through me, He reminds me of who I am.

He fills me with boldness, righteous anger, and the passion and heart to

Not just to pray for myself but also to stand in my authority to command

And speak life, plead the blood and call the name of Jesus

For families, marriages, the body of Christ, ministry, our nation.

In my weakness, He shows me He will be strong.

Scripture comes to life in these moments-

I will never leave you nor forsake you.

I will keep you.

My angels will guard you in all your ways.

I have a plan for you.

You are a conquerer.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

You are royalty, my heir, a co-heir of Christ.

Take your seat in your heavenly place.

I’m reminded of who I am and whose I am.

God is sovereign over all

And as His child, I am fully protected. I am fully covered. I am surrounded by His glory.

When all seems lost, He opens my eyes to see that there are more for me than against me.

My soul is soothed.

Peace takes over.

God gives me rest.

Rest in knowing that vigilance is necessary, but if it is not coupled with sobriety, madness will ensue.

I am saved not by any work I can carry out, but by my faith in Jesus Christ.

My Jesus, the one whom my soul loves.

And I know that everything is going to be ok.

Jennifer,

I have you in the palm of my hands. There is nothing that happens to you that I am not keenly aware of. Everything that has happened to you and is happening to you is for your greatest good. Trust me. I am your Father. I will shake up hell for you. I died for you on the cross and I would do it again. My precious daughter, I will always be with you. I called you to this journey and I am not leaving you. You will make it through because I am with you. Walk through this life, with your head held high. You are my daughter and you have all that need in me. You cannot fail me. My love is not a test you pass in order to receive. I loved you before your first breath and nothing will separate you from my love. Never forget, every moment of everyday I am with you. When you feel weak, come to me, lean on me and I will help you to get through it. You are never alone. There is nothing that you can do to make me stop loving you. You make it Jennifer. You make it. Live from that victory. You made it.

Question of the day

Do you believe it is all up to you to fulfill the will of God for your life?

Sometimes we think that we have to figure things out on our own, but we have a ready help in God. For what we cannot do God will help us find a way through. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we fall short. In the midst of that, God never stops loving you. He never stops being your Father. He never leaves you. You dont earn His love nor His presence. Whatever you have done or not done, know God wants your heart. Go to Him and receive His love that is always available.

Scripture

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Romans 4:20-21

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.)37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

 Kings 6:15-17

15 When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”16 He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha
