I’m being asked to build.
It is a new season, a fresh start.
There is a great opportunity to start over, to start fresh.
I feel the leading in my soul and hear, what would you like to build?
I’m triggered!
When I reflect on what I would like to build
From my truest hearts desires,
I amass a vision of my life that I had already built and had to throw and/or give away.
Do you know how hard it is to build from scratch on your own from months and months of homelessness?
Every detail of my life was handpicked by me.
It was all exactly what I wanted.
After months of building,
I’m being asked, build again but do it my way.

So we are back to the question, what would you like to build?
Do you see my problem?
I built what I wanted.
So, if I’m not allowed to build a life that I want,
Then who am I building a life for?
I still have to live in this body.
I still have to live this life.
I am the one that has to do the work to gather and collect, don, live for this new life.
As I type I’m losing desire to keep typing.
I look at my life now and it’s not what I want.
I feel it’s what I’m being forced to accept.
What am I really angry at?
That my life is no longer my own.
Then if its not mine,
Why am I being asked what I would like to build and then to build?
Holy Spirit,
You have to learn a new way to build. The life you continue to build and live is a life that doesn’t work for you. It doesn’t serve your greatest good. The reason why I am asking you is because I want to build with you. I want to teach you how to build in a way that aligns with who you authentically are in Me, how you were created. It doesn’t seem fun or exciting. It seems very minimal. In the end, you will see that it is what will save you from yourself. It is what will save you from falling into the same ol traps Satan sets that you continue to run too. You keep ending up in situations you don’t like but you keep chasing after the lust of your heart from Satan and not the desires of your heart from Me. Sit with this a little bit. You have no idea where I’m taking you, but you know that I’m taking you somewhere. Take my leading in building an identity and lifestyle that will sustain you when you get there.

Are you embracing your new identity in Christ?
We can grow attached to our old wine skins so much so that we don’t want to let them go. What other people may see as worn, we see as lived in. Others may see wear and tear, but we see a host of experiences that are memories we hold so close to us. We can’t have the new and the old. It simply doesn’t work. You can hold onto the old, but you will find yourself lost in a time that has past all while the world is moving forward into tomorrow. Don’t get left behind! Yesterday was great, but there is something significant happening today in preparation for an even better thing that will happen tomorrow that only God knows. Trust Him.

Luke 5
37 And no one puts new wine into old [c]wineskins; otherwise the new [fermenting] wine will [expand and] burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. 38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. 39 And no one, after drinking old wine, wishes for new; for he says, ‘The old is fine.’”
